Escala Humana is the personal project of Germán Masera (Noemia, Sophenia, Passionate Wine), an unrelenting seeker of forgotten vineyards and unknown varieties, such as Malvasía and Bequignol, for example, who aims to work with the wines with the minimum possible intervention.

This varietal of Bequignol, a grape variety originating from the southwest of France, was made by Germán Masera in Tupungato. It is an easy-to-drink red, with aromas of fresh red berries, a herbal touch, a light body, and gentle tannins.

Composition: 100% Malbec.

Aging: Fermentation in 100% whole cluster eggs and aging in used French oak barrels.

Winery: Escala Humana.
