Himalayan salt is a type of rock salt extracted from the Punjab region in Pakistan, particularly from the Khewra mine. 98% of Himalayan salt is sodium chloride, while the remaining percentage consists of minerals such as potassium, magnesium, calcium, phosphorus, and vanadium.
